Industry security before international standards existed

In 2006, one of our customers – an international leader in the mining industry – wanted to connect its PLCs to the IP network in order to make the best use of data and facilitate control and supervision. 

MCG was asked to build an industrial cyber-security solution with the internal automation department, even though no standard in this field existed. Nonetheless, MCG was able to implement an innovative solution for the first time in Europe, thanks to our understanding of the business, expertise and professional approach, therefore allowing us to offer maintenance and support. This solution was later transposed to the USA and is still being used by the customer as a reference today.
